How We Work and Our Fees

Initial Consultation
It is important that we get to know your situation before scheduling a thorough assessment. To achieve this, we offer a free brief phone screening to help determine if our services are appropriate for your situation and to answer any questions you might have about our treatment program for OCD and anxiety disorders. Please call 1 (801) 298-2000 or click here to get started. Comprehensive Assessment
During the first session, we will provide a comprehensive assessment to gather all the information necessary to help assess the severity of your condition, history, past treatments as well as any other possible factors that may be contributing to your symptoms. Assessments typically last between 2 to 2 1/2 hours. We use multiple scientific and industry standard assessment tools before and during the assessment. If you are an adult client, please do not bring children to the assessment as it is important to not have any distractions during this process. Consultation with Family
If you are not sure if The OCD and Anxiety Treatment Center program is the right fit for you, you are welcome to set an appointment to have a 50 minute paid consultation with one of our therapists, so you can gather further information about our program and processes involved in your treatment. You may also share concerns and details to help determine whether you would like to move forward with further assessment and treatment. In Home and Community Visits
OCD and anxiety disorders can be very complex, and it is not uncommon for treatment to extend outside of the office. If needed, we will make home visits in order to benefit the client’s progress as well as provide InVivo Exposures ("in life") in the community. Fees
Our fees are based on two factors:
1.  IOP has a set weekly fee that includes a specified amount of therapy hours. These hours are specific to individual, family group therapy and in-house psychiatric visits that have been slotted for our program. We do accept most insurance. Please contact us at 1 (801) 298-2000 for further details.
2. Fees are also based on level of expertise and experience of the practitioner. In addition, upon completion of the IOP, we can provide booster sessions (as needed) to maintain progress and refine efforts.

  • If traveling to a home or community session, we bill the hourly rate for travel time.
  • Phone calls between therapy sessions or crisis calls will also be billed at the same hourly rate in 5 minute increments.
  • Payment is due at the time of the therapy services.
  • We do offer a payment plan and we have partnered with a few companies that do provide financing based on meeting their requirements.
  • We accept Cash, Checks or Visa, Master Card or Debit Cards.
  • Further details on our policies and fees can be found in our new client paperwork.
Cancellations and No Shows
When we schedule an appointment we are reserving that time specifically for that client. If a cancellation happens with little notice or they do not show up, this prevents other people on our waiting lists from taking those time slots. We have a firm 24 hour cancellation policy. Late cancellations or not showing up for the appointment will result in being billed the full fee for the time missed. The only exception is if there is an unexpected and unforeseen emergency. In addition, if habitual tardiness or late cancellations becomes a pattern, it could result in termination from the program. Insurance
We do accept health insurance and have been paneled through most insurance agencies. We cannot guarantee that your insurance will cover all or any portion of the program; however, we do have many strategies clients have used to help them request and obtain partial or full reimbursement for treatment that we can share with you.
